I am the author behind the Yarn add-on YES (the Yarn Editor Shell) and
you can always find the latest version here.
Yarn is a great and very flexible offline news- and mail reader, made by Chin Huang.
If you're reading news and/or mail offline, you really ought to use this program!
YES adds:
- Multiple signatures, selected manually or 'intelligently' based on context,
recipient or subject.
- Random, sequential or manually selected quote added to the signature.
- Use of many variables that can inform of the system on which the message
was written.
- Bonus utilities:
- YFolder: A powerfull Yarn folder manipulation utility that can do
all the things with a folder that you wished Yarn could do, including
import from various types of text files, sorting, manual reordering etc.
- YPost: A file posting utility that from the DOS prompt can post or
mail a file or files, either as plain text or encoded using UU- or
XX-encoding, optionally automatically split into smaller parts if
nessesary. All this with full support of the YES setup naturally!
- ReOrder: Small utility to rearrange the newsgroup order in Yarn.
